Bookstore Shipping ExplainedShipping rates are defined by many different variables but the most important being the weight, size, location, and service type desired (such as regular, priority, overnight services). The Dalhousie University Bookstores shipping rates are in tandem with the most current rates posted by trusted and competitive carriers. In fact, many times our rates are significantly less than over-the-counter services offered by carriers! This discount is due largely to our volume commitments which we pass along to you.
Shipping Service Commitments
Online orders placed within Canada can now be delivered to most destinations* via regular, priority, or overnight service. Orders destined for the United States or other international locations will now have the most competitive shipping rates and services available.
The total shipping time is calculated using the following formula:
Total Shipping Time = 24-Hour Order Processing Time + Transit Time

- Orders will only be shipped using trackable services. Regular parcel mail is not offered.

- Degree Frames can only be shipped FedEx to insure against breakage.
